LIBAMBA COFFEE LIMITED
Libamba Coffee Limited was founded in 2011 as small and medium enterprise (SME) by two youthful Kenyan ladies. It was started by a young Kenyan entrepreneurial lady, Lavender, who was passionate about growing and exporting specialty Kenyan coffee. Lavender’s passion for coffee growing attracted the attention of a financial credit expertise, Monicah, yet another young Kenyan entrepreneur to found Libamba Coffee.
Over the years, the duo initially combined their expertise to venture into and serve the Kenyan domestic coffee market by specializing in roasting and serving the niche coffee market. A nascent quality conscious generation third wave was at its initial mass function in the country and the duo worked on the concept of connecting with the Kenyan youth to popularize the high end coffee drinking culture in Kenya’s local universities where coffee consumption was gradually taking root.
With that, the enterprise grew and broadened its portfolio from serving the university coffee houses to offering high quality green coffee for export. Even though the new export portfolio was initially challenging, consistency and mutual trust have seen the growth of the embryonic coffee SME to one of the best coffee exporters in Kenya.

Libamba Coffee Ltd, a licenced Kenyan coffee dealer, exports 100% pure Kenyan coffee. It sources it coffee from growers who dedicate their lives to growing quality coffee taking care in every step in agronomic husbandry of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) based on Kenya coffee standards and Kenya’s coffee industry code of practice. Grown under mountainous climate on the slopes of Mount Kenya, Mount Elgon, expansive Great Rift Valley and Kisii Highlands, rich in red volcanic soils combined with ambience of natural sunshine and sufficient rainfall, Libamba Coffee gives consumers a lifetime gift of quality in coffee.
These microclimates provide a combination of native forests and shelter of more than one hundred species of endemic and migratory birds that are delightful to watch when tendering Kenyan coffee.

Under these conditions the resultant can only be distinctive mild coffees. Libamba Coffee takes pride in the export of premium green, roast and ground specialty coffee from Kenya.
The Product lines
Kenya Delight is a coffee roast that is popular with the young generation. Tested in Kenyan universities, Kenya Delight was introduced when the management of the company realized that existing coffee roasts couldn’t address the generational desire and ego of specialty coffee concept.
